Microsoft Loop task list components gets a refreshed look and more with new update
Microsoft released its Loop collaboration app to the public for a preview in March 2023, just over a year ago. It was then officially launched for general availability in November of the same year. Despite reaching these significant milestones, Microsoft appears to be implementing significant changes to one of its key features.
Recently featured on the Microsoft 365 Insider blog, Loop’s task list components feature has received feedback from users who desire increased flexibility and functionality. In response, Microsoft has released an updated version with a revamped design that closely resembles the tables found in Loop. This latest update includes additional UI elements such as borders and a summary roll.
Along with the updates to the user interface, Microsoft has incorporated filtering capabilities into the task list components. This allows for a more specific search by criteria such as name, assignee, and due date. Furthermore, users have the ability to apply multiple filters to further refine their task lists. Additionally, a new feature has been introduced that enables users to adjust and personalize the height of task list rows to their desired length.
In addition to its previous features, Microsoft Loop now includes the ability to expand or collapse task list components. Furthermore, a new multi-select function has been added, allowing users to select multiple rows and apply an action that will affect all of the selected rows.
In the upcoming months, Microsoft has provided a list of features that will be introduced.
You will also be able to filter by task status as well as filter complete and incomplete tasks by check circle status.
In addition, the Microsoft Loop app has all the other recently added features for the task list component available for use. However, in order to utilize these features, it is necessary to have a Microsoft 365 subscription with a commercial license of either E3 or E5 and a reliable internet connection.
