New Offering for Education Sector

Commencing in December 2025, this new subscription plan will be priced at $18 USD per user, applicable to educators, staff, and students aged 13 and above. Notably, this educational variant includes various AI agents, such as the renowned Analyst and Researcher, along with the capability for users to create bespoke AI agents using their own data.
AI-Powered Tools for Enhanced Learning
Moreover, Microsoft is launching innovative AI-driven experiences tailored for both teaching and learning environments. A notable addition is the Teach agent, designed explicitly for educators. This agent boosts class preparation through a suite of customizable features, enabling teachers to:
- Draft lesson plans and educational content like quizzes and rubrics.
- Personalize lessons based on various metrics, including language, reading level, and difficulty.
The Teach agent is currently in the process of being rolled out free of charge to Microsoft 365 Copilot users within the educational sector. In addition, Microsoft is set to introduce Learning Management System (LMS) integration in the near future to further augment educational experiences.
Empowering Students with New Resources
Another exciting development is the upcoming Study and Learn AI agent, which aims to assist students in mastering their subjects. This tool will provide a variety of interactive study methods, such as:
- Practicing topics with various exercises.
- Engaging with flashcards, matching games, fill-in-the-blank tasks, and quizzes.
The Study and Learn agent is slated for a preview release in November 2025 and will be made available free of charge to applicable users.
Integration with LMS Platforms
Additionally, Microsoft has announced that Copilot Chat will soon be integrated with several popular Learning Management Systems, including Canvas, Schoology, Brightspace, Blackboard, and Moodle. This feature will be accessible through the Microsoft 365 LTI preview starting in December.
