As the week begins, Microsoft has introduced an exciting new update for Windows 11 in the Dev Channel, targeting Windows Insiders. Changelog for Build 26200.5562
Enhanced Copilot+ PC Experiences
Introduction of New Text Actions in Click to Do
Microsoft is rolling out two new text actions designed for Click to Do, now available for Windows Insiders using Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs. Support for other PC architectures, including AMD and Intel, will follow shortly.
Enhanced Photo Discovery via Windows Search
Windows Insiders in the European Economic Area (EEA) can now utilize improved Windows Search capabilities to locate photos saved in the cloud. Users can search using descriptive phrases like “European castles” or “summer picnics” to find their images directly from the taskbar search box. This feature integrates cloud-stored photos alongside locally saved ones, improving search result relevance.
Gradually, these enhanced search experiences will be implemented for all Copilot+ PCs, and support for other PC types is forthcoming. For further information on these updates, click here.
Voice Access Enhancements
This build also introduces multiple improvements for Voice Access. Users can now add custom words to their vocabulary, enhancing dictation accuracy by familiarizing the system with specific terms, including difficult pronunciations.
You can add words through various methods:
By spelling a word using the command “Spell that” or correcting it with “Correct that.”
Manually with the “Add to Vocabulary” command.
Directly through the settings menu in Voice Access.
Furthermore, Voice Access will now include new discoverability features, allowing users to learn about new capabilities quickly. These features can be accessed or dismissed through the settings menu.
Other Notable Changes and Improvements
Improvements to Windows Search
A new feature allows users to disable cloud content searching directly under Settings > Privacy & Security > Search permissions. Currently, this applies only to the taskbar search box, with future updates expected to extend this to File Explorer.
File Explorer Enhancements
Changes to how File Explorer opens now mean that folders will default to a new tab when launched from external sources, such as desktop shortcuts or other applications, if an instance of File Explorer is already open.
Widgets Improvements
New features in widgets allow users to manage notification settings on a per-feed basis, currently in testing for EEA insiders.
Windows Security Upgrades
The Windows Security app is set to provide more in-depth details, including manufacturer information for Pluton TPM chips found within your device.
Settings Improvements
The printer renaming dialog has been refreshed to align with the Windows 11 aesthetic.

Lingering Known Issues
Following a PC reset, the build version may incorrectly reflect as Build 26100, but future Beta Channel updates will rectify this.
