
Microsoft has unveiled an updated build of Windows 11, specifically designed for Insiders in the Canary channel. Designated as build 27919, this release features a revamped user interface and user experience (UI/UX) on the Search page within the Settings app.
In addition to the aesthetic improvements, this build addresses multiple bugs. Notably, a fix has been implemented to resolve an issue where File Explorer would experience crashes upon accessing digital signature information through the right-click context menu. However, it is important to note that the update also comes with several known issues, including recurring errors when utilizing the Group Policy editor and complications affecting multi-monitor functionality in remote desktop scenarios.

Windows Search Enhancements

- Resolved a crash issue in File Explorer when attempting to view the digital signatures tab in file properties.

- Corrected functionality for the Microsoft Changjie Input method that was malfunctioning in previous builds.
- Fixed bugs affecting phonetic keyboards, specifically the Hindi Phonetic and Marathi Phonetic keyboards, which were previously not functioning correctly.

General Acknowledgments
- IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COPILOT+ PCs: Users transitioning to the Canary Channel on new Copilot+ PCs from the Dev Channel, Release Preview Channel, or retail may encounter loss of Windows Hello PIN and biometrics, receiving error 0xd0000225 with the message, “Something went wrong, and your PIN isn’t available.” Users can recreate their PIN by selecting “Set up my PIN.”
- The progress wheel may display as a rectangular glyph instead of its intended format when upgrading to this build.
- [NEW] Unexpected error notifications may appear while accessing the Group Policy Editor.
- [NEW] An issue related to the dao360.dll in this build could lead to crashes in some applications.
Remote Desktop Issues
- [NEW] A bug has been identified where remote desktop functionality defaults to the primary monitor, disregarding configurations for multiple monitors.
