The most noteworthy updates in this release include the introduction of a new menu button in the tab center for mobile users and a resolution for crashes that occurred when opening InPrivate tabs on iOS devices. Below is the complete changelog:

Added Features:

  • Increased functionality with the addition of a ‘Restart’ option in the Prism Collections setting toggle within the webui2 settings.
  • Launched a new ‘…’ menu within the tab center to streamline user navigation.

Improved Behavior:

  • Addressed a critical issue that caused the browser to crash when initiating a new InPrivate tab from the app’s contextual menu or widget on iOS.

Changed Behavior:

  • Corrected a problem where the stamp feature would create incomplete graphics directly on the border of screenshots.

Mac Improvements:

Android Enhancements:

  • Corrected an issue where Talkback identified the ‘x’ button as ‘unlabeled’ in the ‘Notifications’ pane under the browser’s Account Menu on Android.
  • Fixed a bug where the shopping UI remained visible on Android after being launched, even when the system’s return button was pressed.

iOS Updates:

  • Resolved a problem involving the address bar disappearing in landscape mode on the New Tab Page (NTP) in iOS.
  • Fixed misalignment issues for top site names on the ZIP page in iOS.
  • Addressed an issue where Top sites icons displayed incorrectly when adding or removing them in split-screen mode on iOS.
