Microsoft has launched an exciting new feature update for Edge Insiders within the Dev Channel. The latest version, 131.0.2903.5, is now accessible and introduces a range of fixes, a revamped settings page specifically for Profile Workspaces, and several additional enhancements.

New Features:

Behavior Improvements:

  • Fixed a problem causing the browser to crash after selecting ‘Fewer stories like this’ multiple times in the news feed on the new tab page in iOS.
  • Addressed an issue where refreshing the wikipedia.org site led to a crash on Android devices.

Changes in Behavior:

  • Resolved a problem where ‘news.naver.com’ failed to launch automatically following media playback.
  • Adjusted the design inconsistency of account switching sheets when transitioning to AAD via a link from Outlook.
  • Corrected the alignment of the refresh icon within the clickable area in the Game Assist browser.
  • Fixed the truncation issue of the shortcut icon on the ZIP page during searches in portrait mode.
  • Addressed a bug in which the Overflow Menu wouldn’t appear after using the ‘Send to Devices’ feature for the first time.
  • Fixed the visibility issue with the focus indicator on the ‘Home’ control in the Chat Bar while using the Tab key with Copilot.

Android-specific Fixes:

iOS-specific Fixes:

  • Fixed a glitch causing Top Sites and feeds to momentarily shift and then revert when opening a new tab in landscape mode on iOS.
  • Addressed a brief display issue that occurred while scrolling during page loading on iOS.
  • Resolved a problem that prevented pausing the ‘Read Aloud’ feature from the text selection menu on iOS.
