Microsoft addresses Surface Pro 7 camera performance and display flashing issues

Microsoft has launched a new firmware update for the Surface Pro 7, marking it as the final Windows tablet before the redesign. This update addresses various issues, including security vulnerabilities, camera performance, display flickering, and more. Below is the official changelog:

  • Addresses potential security vulnerabilities in relation to Intel® Security Advisories INTEL-SA-00999, INTEL-SA-01083, and INTEL-SA-01071.
  • Fixes an issue with the camera’s performance associated with limited memory or storage capacity.
  • Resolves the flickering or flashing screen problem occurring when the device is connected to the Surface Dock 2.
  • Corrects the malfunctioning of the Battery Limit setting.
