Each of these updates resolves the following issues:

  • CVE-2024-12695: This vulnerability involves an out-of-bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome versions prior to 131.0.6778.204, enabling remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandbox through a specially crafted HTML page. (Severity: High)

  • CVE-2024-12694: This flaw is characterized as a use-after-free error in the Compositing component of Google Chrome, allowing potential heap corruption exploitation by remote attackers via malicious HTML pages. (Severity: High)

  • CVE-2024-12693: Out-of-bounds memory access in V8 prior to version 131.0.6778.204 poses a risk of arbitrary code execution in a sandbox environment through crafted webpages. (Severity: High)

  • CVE-2024-12692: This type confusion vulnerability in V8 permits remote attackers to possibly exploit heap corruption using specially designed HTML content. (Severity: High)
