If you’re in the market for a pre-built gaming PC, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is now available, boasting an impressive configuration for its price point.

While AMD’s latest Zen 4 X3D processor has not been officially announced, it has started to gain visibility across various platforms. Just two days ago, the CPU made an appearance on Geekbench, and it is now featured in the new PowerSpec G527 gaming PC listed on Micro Center. This pre-built system integrates the Ryzen 5 7500X3D, a powerful 6-core/12-thread CPU that includes an enhanced 64 MB of L3 cache alongside the standard 32 MB.
Highlighted specifications indicate the Ryzen 5 7500X3D features a base clock speed of 4.0 GHz, with boost clock speeds reaching between 4.5 and 4.6 GHz. This compact gaming PC is constructed with quality components including an MSI B850M motherboard, 32 GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM (6000 MT/s), a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and a Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16 GB of graphics memory, recognized as one of today’s leading budget GPUs. Priced at $999, this configuration is a competitive offering, particularly when compared to our $1000 gaming build, which utilized similar parts.
A notable difference lies in our build’s use of the Ryzen 5 7600X, while the G527 features a faster gaming-oriented CPU, albeit with lower clock speeds. The 96 MB of L3 cache is a significant advantage for gaming performance. Furthermore, this package includes Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 6E capability for superior wireless connectivity, and a complimentary keyboard and mouse, making this an exceptional deal.
Interestingly, we can estimate the potential pricing for the Ryzen 5 7500X3D based on the overall component costs. It seems plausible that the CPU would retail for around $200 or possibly even less, a favorable price point in contrast to the current $299 for the Ryzen 5 7600X3D — a less appealing figure given its performance. There is little justification for paying a premium for just 6 cores when superior options are available.
If AMD confirms a price of $200 or lower for the 7500X3D, it would be a top contender in the budget gaming CPU arena, likely outperforming offerings like the Intel Core i5-14600K and the Ryzen 5 9600X. While we await AMD’s official pricing announcement, it’s anticipated that they will opt for a low-key launch approach, consistent with their strategy for budget processors. Additionally, it’s unclear whether this will be a global rollout, but historically, AMD processors have been made available in various regions several months post-launch.
