Michele and Devin Clash in Unreleased Footage from The Challenge 40: “I’m Borderline Gonna Walk Out”

The Challenge 40, titled The Battle Of The Eras, features a mix of both veteran and new competitors, with a total of 40 contestants vying for a grand prize of $1 million.

This acclaimed reality series has been engaging audiences for 26 years, and the current season has been structured into four distinct eras, leading to only 24 contestants remaining in The Challenge 40. Once again, TJ Lavin hosts the show, and the official Instagram account has been actively sharing never-before-seen clips from the series.

In the most recent clip released on September 27, 2024, viewers can observe Devin Walker and Michele Fitzgerald embroiled in a heated argument in the house. Despite their emerging connection during season 40, this showmance took a turn for the worse during episode 5 after Johnny Bananas advised Michele to keep her distance from Devin.

Michele addressed the situation with Devin, and he reciprocated the sentiment towards Bananas. The unreleased footage provides an in-depth look into their conflict, showing Michele and Devin discussing how the events transpired. Michele remarked that Bananas approached her with friendly intentions, aiming to look out for her due to her past experiences with showmances.

Devin expressed his hurt feelings regarding Bananas’ comments, clarifying that advising someone to “stay guarded”is significantly different from implying that the “whole thing is fabricated.”This divergence makes it difficult to ascertain the truth as both parties present their views. Tori intervened in their discussion, prompting Michele to recount Bananas’ words “verbatim.”

As Michele narrated the events, Devin became frustrated when she referenced another person, Olivia Kaiser, who was also part of the conversation. Devin pointed out that Michele’s prior claim of a one-on-one discussion contradicted what she just stated.

“There’s an inaccuracy already because you told me it was one-on-one. I’m borderline gonna walk out,” Devin said.

Michele storms out in a fury on The Challenge 40

Devin’s intense reaction caused Michele to abruptly leave the conversation, stating she was done with it altogether. In a state of frustration, Devin insisted on understanding Michele’s perspective on The Challenge 40. Michele responded by saying that Devin was “disrupting something good”in relation to their blossoming showmance, and she became emotional as he pressed on.

As Michele made her exit, Kaycee Clark comforted her, while Tori attempted to calm Devin, advising him to de-escalate the situation. Tori encouraged Devin, saying, “Your feelings are valid, and you need the salad.” She humorously asked if he wanted a salad, which Devin seemed to consider if it could help ease the tension.

Tori suggested that Debbie should extend an apology to Michele, prompting Devin to shout, “Michele, immediate forgiveness!”However, Michele was not ready to forgive and shouted back at Devin to “f*** off!”

CT Tamburello and Theo Campbell engage in a bus fight on The Challenge 40

Previously unreleased footage from episode 5 showcased CT and Theo getting into a physical altercation during a bus ride with the cast. In a confessional, Rachel Robinson mentioned that Theo has a reputation for resting his feet on bus seats, which might not have been wise on this occasion since CT was seated in the back.

The scene quickly shifts to CT and Theo fighting, with other cast members intervening to prevent further escalation. Nehemiah Clark humorously commented that he usually uses bus rides to relax, but today it was anything but peaceful, dubbing it “the demon bus.”

In the sixth episode of The Challenge 40, contestants Brad Fiorenza and Jonna Mannion faced elimination. Fans can catch the latest episodes streaming on MTV and Paramount+.
