Born on December 10, 1986, in Buenos Aires, Wanda Nara is an acclaimed model, television presenter, and football agent. She began her career in Argentine theater, featuring in productions such as Humor en custodia and King Corona.
Nara rose to fame in 2007 after appearing on the reality show Showmatch’s Patinando por un Sueño. Her popularity soared, leading to appearances on numerous television programs and eventually expanding into European media, where she co-hosted the Italian sports show Tiki Taka – Il Calcio è Il Nostro Gioco in 2018.
In addition, she has hosted various Italian reality TV shows including Grande Fratello VIP and is set to lead MasterChef Argentina starting in 2023. Nara’s versatile career in entertainment and sports journalism has solidified her reputation as a prominent television figure.
Additionally, Nara manages the career of her husband, football star Mauro Icardi, after her prior marriage to footballer Maxi López, with whom she shares three children. Her new role as co-host of Love is Blind Argentina alongside Darío Barassi showcases her latest chapter in television.
About Dario Barassi
Darío Tadeo Pacheco Barassi, an Argentine actor, comedian, and television host, was born on November 5, 1983, in San Juan, Argentina. Initially intending to study law at the University of Buenos Aires, he shifted gears towards the entertainment industry, participating in acting classes that paved the way for his television career.
Barassi gained notable recognition as a reporter on AM, Antes del Mediodía, where his comedic flair captured the audience’s attention and solidified his place in Argentine television.
He further advanced his career with significant hosting positions, such as co-hosting the cooking show Rico y Excelente from 2012 to 2013, and hosting 90 Días o Menos in 2014. His role in the series Viudas e Hijos del Rock and Roll earned him a nomination for a Martín Fierro Award, and his impressive performances across theater and television, including Educando a Nina and Tiempos Secundarios, highlight his abilities as a versatile entertainer.
