Meet the Host of Halloween Wars Season 14

Halloween Wars is back with its 14th season on the Food Network, featuring eight talented contestants vying to craft the most impressive Halloween-themed display.

Each competing team is led by a previous champion of the show and consists of three skilled members: a talented pumpkin carver, a cake decorator, and a sugar artist. Jonathan Bennett has resumed his role as the host for Halloween Wars season 14. He first joined the cooking competition in 2016, taking over hosting responsibilities from Jonathan Rhodes in season 6. With his trademark enthusiasm and playful humor, Bennett quickly won the hearts of viewers.

Jonathan Bennett is a 43-year-old actor from Rossford, Ohio. He rose to fame for his portrayal of Aaron Samuels in the 2004 teenage comedy classic Mean Girls.

Born on June 10, 1981, in Rossford, OH, Bennett began his acting journey during middle school theater. He nurtured his passion in high school, later attending Otterbein College in Columbus, OH to study theater.

Upon graduating, the Halloween Wars host moved to New York City to pursue a full-time acting career. He secured his first role in the ABC soap opera All My Children in 2001, where he played rich teenager Adam “J. R.”Chandler Jr. He also made guest appearances on popular series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Boston Public.

Bennett marked his film debut with the 2003 indie film Season of Youth, which became a stepping stone to landing his iconic role in Mean Girls. The following year, he appeared in the 2005 film Lovewrecked.

In 2005, he returned to television with a brief role in DC’s Smallville. His subsequent credits include Veronica Mars, Drinking the Kool-Aid, A Trip to the Dentist, and Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.
