In the last moments of the game, Oba Femi successfully performed the Snake Eyes maneuver on Gacy. However, the match came to an unexpected halt when the referee approached Gacy and displayed the X symbol, which usually indicates a real injury.

Based on the most recent update from Fightful Select, Gacy’s injury scare was confirmed to be genuine, as there were worries about a potential concussion. Fortunately, Gacy was able to make it back to the locker room on his own without assistance.

As confirmed by WWE sources, the occurrence caused a disturbance in the initial agenda. The plan was for Dijak and Josh Briggs to participate in a segment with Oba Femi after the intended finish. However, Gacy’s injury resulted in the segment being relocated backstage in a hurried manner. Additionally, Gacy recorded a backstage segment where he reassured that he was in good condition and expressed his desire for a match against Shawn Spears at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024.

At NXT Stand & Deliver 2024, Oba Femi will defend his NXT North American Championship in a highly anticipated Triple Threat Match against Dijak and Josh Briggs. The event will take place on April 6, 2024, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, just before Night One of WrestleMania XL.
