Maxsun Unveils Single-Slot Liquid-Cooled Arc Pro B60 48G for 7x GPU Setup

Maxsun is poised to revolutionize AI workstation setups with its innovative W790 motherboard, designed to support an impressive quad-GPU configuration despite its compact form factor.

Maxsun Collaborates with Abee for Groundbreaking Cooling Solution on Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo

In an exciting development, Maxsun continues to push the limits of its AI workstation technology, recently unveiling its capability to house up to four Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo graphics cards. Although the W790 motherboard is equipped with seven PCIe x16 slots, spatial constraints prevented the installation of multiple dual-slot GPUs. However, a promising solution is on the horizon.

Maxsun has joined forces with Japanese hardware manufacturer Abee to leverage its advanced liquid cooling technology on the Arc Pro B60 48G Turbo edition. Traditionally, this GPU occupies a dual-slot space; however, the introduction of Abee’s liquid cooling transforms the GPU into the more compact Arc Pro B60 48G Liquid Edition, reducing its profile to a single slot. The new design includes essential connectors for liquid cooling, facilitating seamless integration within the spacious and well-ventilated Abee Designer C700W PC chassis, which is capable of accommodating substantial radiators.

With Abee’s Liquid Edition redesign, the same B60 evolves into a slimmer and more efficient solution — engineered to fit seamlessly across all 7 full-speed PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. This innovation enables smarter cooling, higher efficiency, and uncompromised performance.

Maxsun aims to accommodate up to seven Arc Pro Dual B60 48G Liquid Editions on the W790 motherboard, which translates into a remarkable 336 GB of GDDR6 video memory. This configuration boasts a substantial increase of 1.75X in VRAM compared to the previous quad-GPU setup that provided 192 GB. Such an enhancement positions Maxsun’s solution as a superior choice for demanding AI workloads, catering to the needs of both enthusiasts and professionals alike.

As for the pricing, the Liquid Edition is expected to be priced higher than the Turbo Edition, potentially falling in the range of $1300 to $1500. Thus, outfitting a system with seven of these GPUs would roughly translate to an investment of around $9000 to $10000 solely for the graphics cards.

Maxsun has yet to announce official pricing for the Liquid Edition or its AI workstation. We will keep our audience informed as soon as these details become available.
