Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 For PC Release Date Set for January 2025

In an exciting update for PC gamers, Sony has unveiled significant news at the New York Comic Con. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, developed by Insomniac Games, is officially making its way to PC, breaking free from its original PlayStation 5 exclusive status. This PC adaptation is being overseen by Nixxes Software, which is working closely with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Known for their exceptional work in porting titles to PC, Nixxes has previously delivered successful conversions like Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and the initial Marvel’s Spider-Man game.

The adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales first launched on the PlayStation 5 in October of last year, continuing the captivating narratives from their original game and standalone DLC released in 2018 and 2020, respectively. PC enthusiasts enjoyed the first title in this franchise back in 2022, allowing the beloved Wall Crawler to traverse additional platforms.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will see our heroic duo face off against legendary comic book villains, including Venom and Kraven, alongside those from their earlier escapades. Players can also expect a lineup of new abilities to explore, some of which are associated with the exciting new Symbiote suit. All content released post-launch, such as New Game+, new suits, and other additions, will be available for PC players right from the start.
