Marvel Snap is taking proactive steps to compensate players in the United States who experienced service interruptions earlier this month. In addition to the regular rewards available globally, U. S.players will receive enhanced packages as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused by the downtime.
The card battler’s publisher, Nuverse, operates under ByteDance, the same firm behind TikTok, which has come under increasing scrutiny from U. S.lawmakers. Recently, the U. S.Congress enacted the Protecting Americans From Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, clearly identifying ByteDance as a significant foreign adversary. As a result, Marvel Snap faced a temporary ban that rendered the game inaccessible to U. S.players starting January 19.
Fortunately, the ban has been temporarily lifted, allowing Marvel Snap to resume operations in the U. S.As part of their efforts to make up for the disruptions, developers at Second Dinner announced on Twitter that players who logged in within 30 days of the service interruption will be eligible to receive one of two distinct compensation packages based on their Collection Level.

For those exceeding Collection Level 500, the package features two Spotlight Keys, 3, 000 Collector’s Tokens, and 1, 500 Credits. Meanwhile, players below this threshold will receive six Mystery Series 3 Cards and 3, 000 Credits, along with a Mystery Variant, a Premium Mystery Variant, and additional boosters.
In addition to these reward initiatives, Marvel Snap is putting measures in place to prevent future service interruptions due to legal challenges. The development team is making strides to bring more development processes in-house and is actively seeking a new publisher to minimize its association with the parent company of TikTok.
