Unveiling of the Negative Zone Gladiator Costume
Human Torch will take on the role of a Duelist, directly confronting enemy teams. This airborne hero boasts the ability to unleash fiery attacks from heights, including a unique descending strike igniting foes upon impact. His skill set includes crafting walls of flame that inflict damage on nearby adversaries, effectively establishing fiery zones on the battlefield. His ultimate ability elevates his standard flame attack into formidable fire tornadoes, and when paired with Storm, the tornadoes can be amplified as she merges her ultimate into his.
On social media, NetEase Games revealed that the Negative Zone Gladiator costume will launch concurrently with Human Torch in Marvel Rivals. This new attire alters the distinctive look of Johnny Storm, enveloping him in dark armor with fiery accents peek through. The costume features a textured, knotted material snaking up his arm and across his face, providing a rugged aesthetic. Notably, it omits any insignia identifying him as a member of The Fantastic Four, making this ensemble a departure from his traditional appearance.

As per leaks, the costume will be available for 1, 600 Units, aligning it with the epic rarity tier for cosmetics in Marvel Rivals. Recently, NetEase Games announced rewarding players with Chrono Tokens, which can be exchanged for Units, allowing fans to acquire additional items in the shop without spending money.

Players will not only welcome Human Torch into the game but also The Thing, who will be introduced as the latest Vanguard hero in the upcoming update set for February 21. The Thing’s combat kit empowers him to charge and deal heavy blows to opponents, and he even possesses a passive ability that renders him immune to displacement effects from enemy attacks. With a wealth of new content arriving soon and even more planned for the future, fans are eagerly awaiting NetEase Games’ next moves in the Marvel Rivals universe.
