Marvel Rivals Season 5 Set to Launch with Exciting New Features
On November 14, 2025, NetEase will launch the highly anticipated fifth season of Marvel Rivals. Ahead of this release, the company has unveiled a captivating cinematic trailer that introduces fans to two remarkable additions to the game’s roster: Gambit and Rogue. Additionally, a Dev Vision video has been shared, highlighting the innovative changes and new gameplay features, including a unique Conquest mode.
New Heroes Join the Battle
The first new hero to enter the fray is Gambit, who will become available this Friday. As a Strategist, Gambit brings versatile abilities to the team, capable of healing allies, removing negative status effects, and dealing damage to opponents with an added anti-heal effect. This makes him a valuable asset on the battlefield, enhancing strategic gameplay.
A Fresh Experience with a New Map
Season 5 will also introduce an all-new map set against the vibrant backdrop of Times Square in New York. Unlike previous combat-focused maps, this space is designed as a social hub where players can gather, interact, and enjoy the game environment without the pressure of competitive play. This new addition aims to enhance player engagement and foster community interaction.
Introducing the Conquest Mode
The most thrilling new feature this season is the Conquest (Annihilation) mode. This large-scale 18v18 gameplay will be accessible starting November 27, 2025, providing players with an expansive arena for epic battles. While it won’t go live on the initial launch day, its introduction during the season promises to elevate competitive dynamics within the game.

This season marks a continuation of NetEase’s seasonal structure initiated in Season 3, wherein each season is split into two halves.
