Marvel Rivals is gearing up to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic characters Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic with exciting new skins, launching on February 13 at 6 PM PST. Earlier this season, fans were treated to another skin for Mister Fantastic, titled The Maker, which reimagines Reed Richards as a villain, while Invisible Woman received the Malice skin, giving her an eerie flair.
Both characters made their entrance at the start of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. Sue Storm, known for her strategic gameplay, brings unique abilities that include healing allies, generating shields, and granting invisibility to her team for short durations. On the other hand, Reed Richards is a formidable Duelist; many fans argue that his durability rivals that of the Vanguards in the roster. His skillset allows him to transition into a bulkier form, enhancing his health as he engages with opponents.

In addition to the new skins, players are offered the chance to earn a free skin for Invisible Woman. Achieving a Gold rank or higher in Competitive mode during the first half of Season 1 will unlock the Blood Shield costume for this beloved Strategist. There was a recent uproar among the community after NetEase Games announced a rank reset with the mid-season update. However, in response to player feedback, they reversed this decision, allowing gamers to keep their ranks intact through the season’s conclusion.

Looking ahead, NetEase Games revealed that The Thing and Human Torch will be joining the roster of Marvel Rivals on February 21, completing the Fantastic Four lineup and bringing the total characters available in the game to 37. While the future character roster remains under wraps, developers have indicated their plans to introduce a new character every six weeks. Recent insights from a Gallery Card have sparked speculation about Blade possibly being the next addition to the game. As developments unfold, the community is eagerly anticipating what new features and characters will debut in Marvel Rivals.
