Since its launch last year, Marvel Rivals has been experiencing an impressive wave of success. NetEase, the game’s developer, is clearly intent on maintaining this momentum. Recently, a promotional poster leak hinted at exciting new additions to the game, which has now been officially confirmed: The Fantastic Four are joining the hero-shooter roster.
The artwork, prominently shared on social media, features the full superhero ensemble, including Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. Additionally, astute fans have spotted a familiar robotic figure in the mix.
Introducing H.E.R.B.I.E.
This robot, known as H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-Type, Integrated Electronics), has often been a companion to the Fantastic Four, making appearances in a 1970s animated series and later within the Marvel comics universe. While fans are eager to learn more about H.E.R.B.I.E.’s role, it’s still uncertain whether this character will be a playable hero or possibly serve as a cosmetic feature.

The backdrop of the poster prominently showcases the Baxter Building, the headquarters of the Fantastic Four. All members are seen aboard the iconic Fantasticar, leading many to speculate that these elements may be tied to a new map expected to be released alongside the arrival of the new heroes.
