At the recent 2025 DICE Summit held in Las Vegas, the development team behind Marvel Rivals, NetEase Games, shared its enthusiasm for potentially developing games for the Nintendo Switch 2. The producer, Weicong Wu, revealed that the team has been engaging with Nintendo and has access to development kits, underscoring their commitment to exploring opportunities on the new platform.

Since its announcement on January 16, the Nintendo Switch 2 has generated a wave of discussion across social platforms. While specific details about the console’s capabilities are still emerging, Nintendo has assured fans that most existing Switch games will be compatible with the new system, albeit with a few exceptions. Notably, the buzz surrounding the console has led to reports of early units circulating on the black market, with some commands steep prices nearing $40, 000, although confirmed transactions remain speculative.
