Marvel Rivals: Complete Guide to Season 1 Battle Pass Rewards and Acquisition Methods

The inaugural season of Marvel Rivals features an exciting Battle Pass filled with various cosmetic rewards available through the use of purple Chrono Tokens. Players who choose to purchase the Battle Pass will unlock a plethora of character skins, emotes, MVP animations, and more. Notably, even those opting for the free version can accumulate select items from the Battle Pass, although their choices are limited.

There are two distinct versions of the Battle Pass available: the Free Edition and the Luxury Battle Pass. Upon the start of Season 1 on January 10th, 2025, players will automatically have access to the Free Edition and can begin earning related rewards right away. For those looking to enhance their experience, purchasing the Luxury Battle Pass for 990 Lattice (the game’s premium currency) becomes a viable option, providing access to additional rewards as the season progresses.

In the in-game store, players can purchase 1,000 Lattice for approximately $10. Depending on your existing Lattice balance, you may find that a lesser investment is needed to acquire the Luxury Battle Pass.

How To Earn Items From The Seasonal Battle Pass

Complete Daily Missions And Weekly Goals

A vital way to earn items from the Battle Pass is by utilizing Chrono Tokens, the purple currency of Marvel Rivals. Alongside Gold Lattice and Blue Units, Chrono Tokens are readily obtainable through gameplay. You can earn these Tokens by completing Daily and Weekly objectives, which may encompass tasks such as:

  • Dealing Damage With Specific Characters
  • Winning Matches
  • Performing Healing Actions
  • Achieving KO Streaks

These examples reflect just a portion of the missions available. Players can monitor their current objectives in the “Season”menu, where the Battle Pass can also be accessed. In this menu, selecting the “Missions”option reveals the various goals needed to accumulate Chrono Tokens throughout Season 1.

Both Daily and Weekly missions reset periodically, giving players the opportunity to choose to refresh particularly challenging tasks. For instance, if a mission requires you to inflict 15,000 damage with an unfamiliar character, you can opt to refresh it for a potentially easier task.

It is essential to note that any Chrono Tokens accumulated in Season 0 will not carry over to Season 1; your total will reset to zero when the new season commences.

This season’s Battle Pass, known as the Darkhold, alludes to a formidable magical artifact from Marvel Comics. The Battle Pass is expected to span a duration of three months, allowing both free and Luxury Pass users ample time to earn a wide array of rewards.

The Season 1 Battle Pass comprises a total of 11 pages, each filled with a variety of rewarding items. The cost of items typically ranges from 200 to 400 Chrono Tokens, with character skins often being the most expensive cosmetics available. Similar to Season 0, players are required to accumulate a designated number of Chrono Tokens to unlock further pages within the Battle Pass.

Character skins represent the focal point of the Battle Pass, but players should be aware that skins cannot be claimed until all items on a specific page are unlocked. The sole exception is the initial skin awarded upon the purchase of the Luxury Battle Pass: the All-Butcher skin for Loki. After acquiring this unique appearance, here are the steps necessary to claim the other rewards:
