Marlon Wayans has continued to express his admiration for Sean “Diddy”Combs’ parties, despite the increasing allegations surrounding the rapper involving s*x trafficking, abuse, and s*xual assault. On September 16, authorities took the Bad Boy Records founder into custody for charges related to “racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals to engage in prostitution.”This arrest followed a raid by Homeland Security earlier this year at his residences, where evidence was uncovered indicating events labeled as “freak offs.”
According to the indictment, a “freak off”involves extravagant s*xual gatherings that Combs supposedly organized, where he coerced and drugged women into having s*x with male escorts. Allegedly, these events were recorded and used to intimidate victims and witnesses into silence.
Marlon Wayans previously discussed his experiences at Diddy’s parties during the September 4 episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast. He told host Shannon Sharpe that he would leave early and was not aware of the purported “freak offs,”stating:
“I [have] been to plenty [of] Diddy parties. I left early. I swear to you. I’ve never seen it. Those aren’t the type of parties I go to. I don’t frequent those type of parties, and even if I go, like I said, I’d never seen any of this.”
On September 27, an X user accused Wayans of being deceitful regarding his early exits from Diddy’s parties, referencing a 2009 post where he remarked, “Aint no party like a Diddy party.”
In response, Wayans reaffirmed his previous statements, asserting that the parties he attended were characterized by “good vibes and energy with CLOTHES ON!”
“Yup! And I still stand by that. I’ve never seen or been a part of nothing but good vibes and energy with CLOTHES ON! So yeah, and I ain’t rushing to take down old tweets or anything. I ain’t got shit to hide. Period,”he tweeted.
Diddy Faces Twelfth Lawsuit Alleging S*xual Assault
The scandal surrounding Diddy continues as he faces a twelfth lawsuit accusing him of s*xual assault. The latest complainant, identified as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in New York on September 27, alleging that Diddy drugged and assaulted her from 2020 to July 2024.
In the lawsuit, the woman claims she met Diddy in an “overseas location”and developed a regular relationship with him. She alleges he drugged her and assaulted her while she was incapacitated, with the incident filmed without her permission.
The lawsuit details a specific event that occurred in July 2022, where the woman was allegedly compelled to ingest ketamine, leading to her “blacking out”and “losing consciousness intermittently throughout the night.”
“At every visit, (Combs) would make her ‘perform a show’ for him and would ply her with alcohol and substances until she passed out — she would wake up with bruising and injuries but with no recollection of how she sustained her injuries,” the lawsuit states.
Jane Doe further claims that the incident resulted in her pregnancy. She alleges that Diddy coerced her into seeking an abortion after she revealed her pregnancy to him, and she later miscarried. Furthermore, she states that Combs threatened her into silence, closely monitored her movements, and provided her with an allowance to prevent her from working.
The legal troubles for Sean Combs began in November 2023 when his former partner Cassie Ventura filed the first lawsuit. Since then, he has been hit with a total of 11 additional lawsuits accusing him of s*xual assault and misconduct.
Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center facing federal charges and has pleaded not guilty. He has been denied bail twice and is scheduled for a court hearing on October 9, 2024.
