World of Warcraft has recently showcased some eye-catching items for its upcoming March Trading Post, introducing an enchanting selection that includes the Ruby Butterfly mount and various Monarch weapons along with transmogs. The theme this month revolves around butterflies, highlighted by free rewards such as the Ornaments of the Pearlescent Monarch, making it a vibrant collection for players to explore.
Each month, the Trading Post allows World of Warcraft players to purchase cosmetic items that rotate regularly. These items are acquired using Trader’s Tender, a currency primarily earned through completing tasks found in the Traveler’s Log, though players may also obtain it through specific bundles available for purchase in the cash shop.

These highlights are merely a glimpse into the upcoming selections available at the Trading Post in March. Historically, Blizzard would showcase entire catalogs in their announcements, but a recent shift began with the December 2024 Trading Post, where only select items are highlighted. This modification means that players will need to wait until March 1 to discover the full inventory available for purchase with Trader’s Tender.
Moreover, it’s important to note that the current February Trading Post catalog will quickly be phased out, along with its special bonuses celebrating the second anniversary of the feature. Players should take advantage of the additional vendors offering discounts on returning items, along with the extra 500 Trader’s Tender available from the Traveler’s Log, before these benefits disappear in March.
Adding to the excitement, Blizzard has recently launched Patch 11.1, titled Undermine(d), which introduces new activities likely to contribute to players’ progress on the Traveler’s Log. With Season 2 of The War Within commencing on March 4, players should find ample opportunities to earn Trader’s Tender and obtain the Ornaments of the Pearlescent Monarch through various engagements in the Undermine zone.
