Mandy Rose sends a message to WWE Superstar ahead of a major title match
Mandy Rose utilized social media to convey a message to Roxanne Perez, a WWE Superstar and former NXT Women’s Champion.
In her last WWE match of late 2022, Rose lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Perez. Not long after, the Stamford-based company released the 33-year-old superstar from her contract.
In response to a recent promo from Perez, Rose sent a brief five-word message to the superstar who dethroned her as the NXT Women’s Champion. Perez is set to face Lyra Valkyria in her quest to reclaim the title at NXT Stand & Deliver.
“Ohhhh I like this girl,”wrote Rose.

Matt Morgan Reflects on Mandy Rose’s Impactful Run in NXT
Matt Morgan, a seasoned wrestler, praised Mandy Rose and commended her for being the backbone of the division for an extended period of time.
During his appearance on the Gigantic Pop Podcast, Morgan asserted that WWE’s decision to terminate Rose was a major blunder and they “messed up.”He stated:
“Because, like, she did her part. She did everything that you’re supposed to do ad nauseam because she should have been called up even more prematurely, which she eventually got called up. I was very, like, for the longest time, Glenn, how long would you say that she carried NXT? Girl or guy, I’m sorry. She carried it on her own. (…) Mandy carried it over the guys. With respect to every guy in that division, I’m sorry, she was a more must-see talent than any guy in that division. WWE effed up majorly with her, sorry.”
Throughout her time on NXT, Mandy Rose was a key member of the Toxic Attraction faction, which also included Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin. Together, the trio proved to be a dominant force in the NXT women’s division, with Jayne and Dolin securing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships for the majority of their tenure.
After Rose left, both Jayne and Dolin went their separate ways but continue to compete on NXT.
