Major update on John Cena’s future post-WWE WrestleMania XL – Reports

Based on a recent report, it is anticipated that John Cena, a 16-time world champion, will be present in Philadelphia this weekend for The Show of Shows.

Despite the change in leadership, John Cena remained a dominant force in WWE for more than ten years. As the Leader of Cenation, he also gained recognition as a successful star beyond the company when he transitioned to a full-time career in Hollywood.

Regrettably, The Doctor of Thuganomics has been absent from the company since his defeat against Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel 2023.

PWInsider reports that there is an expectation within the company that Cena will be present for the event. However, it was also mentioned that the former WWE Champion is currently occupied filming the second season of DC: Peacemaker.

“While there are some in WWE that expect John Cena will be in town for Wrestlemania this weekend, he will be off the board for anything major in the physical WWE realm for most of the remainder of 2024. Cena will be filming the second season of the DC Series Peacemaker from June through November in the Atlanta area, with the current shooting schedule slated to end around Thanksgiving,”the report stated. As a result, the previous world champion is unlikely to participate in any physical capacity during the promotion from June to November 2024.

Despite having new music and gear prepared for the upcoming return of The Brahma Bull to the company, the star’s plans were scrapped by the old regime. As a result, they faced each other as faces at WrestleMania.
