The finale of The Circle Season 7 aired on October 2, wrapping up the competition with episode 13. In this concluding episode, viewers witnessed the reveal of the final five contestants after Madelyn, the Secret Super Influencer, blocked Jadejha.
During the finale, the final five contestants met face-to-face for the first time in the finale room and were greeted by the other contestants who had been blocked throughout the season. Darian confronted Kevin about blocking him, despite their alliance, to which Kevin explained that Madelyn had warned him that Darian was playing both sides.
Madelyn admitted that she misled Kevin regarding Darian’s intentions and also acknowledged that she had lied to Andy/Heather about their rankings. Jadejha, who had also been blocked by Madelyn, referenced the portrait she created during the show’s portrait game, stating:
“I painted Madelyn’s portrait. She was the ‘puppet master’. I was right. I tried to warn y’all but y’all didn’t listen.”
Madelyn became emotional and defended her actions, expressing that it was simply part of the game. She elaborated:
“I did tell people things and people told me things. But, at the end of the day you all have your own minds.”
How did Madelyn from The Circle respond to accusations of dishonesty from her co-stars?
The tension began on the The Circle finale couch when the Scarlotta Twins claimed they tried their best to keep both Darian and Jadejha in the game, believing they were loyal players deserving of a chance. Darian referred to himself as the Disruptor, having chosen Kevin, his closest ally, as the second influencer to ensure his safety.
However, Kevin turned on his alliance and eliminated Darian. In his defense, Kevin claimed that his primary loyalty was to Madelyn, who had identified Darian as deceitful. He expressed heartbreak over the betrayal he felt from Darian.
Madelyn admitted that her statement about Darian was untrue. When Kevin questioned her disbelief, Madelyn confessed with a smile that it was fabricated. Darian defended his loyalty and brought up the portrait competition where he was depicted as a backstabber—a portrayal Kevin attributed to Madelyn’s words.
In her explanation, Madelyn discussed an incident where Andy/Heather expressed concerns about Gianna. Aware that attacking Gianna would be disadvantageous due to their strong position in the group, she opted to target one of the boys instead and identified Darian as the easiest choice.
Heather pressed Madelyn on her honesty regarding ranking her fourth, to which Madelyn confessed was a lie. The revelation shocked the group, leading Jadejha to remind them of her warning illustrated in her ‘puppet master’ portrait.
Madelyn responded, stating:
“I was confused as well. Everybody made decisions. I would like to preface with saying that this is a game.”
Feeling emotional, Darian remarked that Madelyn sounded villainous. Madelyn admitted she had intended to be truthful entering the game, but felt compelled to protect herself and Rachel when The Circle Disruptor forced a role swap.
Madelyn mentioned that to survive in The Circle, she had to prioritize her and Rachel’s safety from elimination. Debbie acknowledged their regrettable actions, hoping it clarified their decisions to Heather. After hearing Madelyn’s perspective, Heather conceded that it made sense and praised the strategic gameplay.
