A set of five complimentary Pal skins is now available as part of the Spring Festival festivities. These skins were introduced with the patch released on January 23, 2025, alongside several gameplay updates.

How to Claim Your Free Pal Skins

As with previous free skin promotions in Palworld, it’s important to note that these skins are specifically tied to their respective Pals. To equip these new skins, players must own the corresponding Pal. Thankfully, claiming them requires no extra steps—simply log in and access your Pal after the latest update. When available, you can easily equip your new skins and enjoy the visual enhancements!

Specification Adjustments

  • Pals will now target the nearest enemy upon summoning.
  • Large Pals’ behaviors have been optimized to navigate narrow passages, similar to small Pals.
  • Enhanced elemental attributes for Mammorest and Mammorest Cryst, adding earth elements.
  • Killamari has received the water element and the new work suitability “watering.”

Balance Adjustments

  • Power requirements for the large electric egg incubator have been reduced, with a notable increase in battery capacity.
  • The targeting range near the reticle for the same enemy has expanded.
  • Fixed discrepancies in stamina between normal and Alpha Pals.
  • Adjusted loot from large oil rig treasure chests, including the removal of the uncommon plasma cannon blueprint.
  • Advanced Bow damage drop-off distance has been increased by 1.5.
  • Resource requirements for crafting weapons and armor have been reduced.
  • Production speed for crude oil extraction has been significantly increased.
  • Weapons and armor made from select blueprints will now have improved durability (note that existing equipment’s durability will remain unchanged).

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed a crash bug involving Pals with multiple negative passive skills during surgery with Dr. Brawn.
  • Fixed a bug affecting NEW labels in the building UI on new save data.
  • Resolved a treasure chest respawn issue on the Oil Rig.
  • Corrected bugs that left residual effects from the workbench.
  • Fixed an unintended cross-platform play issue affecting PS5 and Xbox players.
  • Addressed terrain disappearance issues.
