The best MX9 gear in Warzone 2 Season 1
So you’re testing out the new submachine guns in Warzone 2 and you’ve made it to the MX9. You’re in luck because this SMG has become one of the most underrated in the meta, and it’s quickly showing up on the radars of many battle royale players due to the stats it offers.
Even in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, the MX9 is great but doesn’t seem to get noticed. It performs like the slightly faster STB 556 with many of the same benefits. There’s a reason players use this to get a slight advantage over other submachine guns like the Fennec 45. In this gear guide, we’ll cover all the attachments you’ll need to make the most of the Bruen SMG variant.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best MX9 Gear
Compared to other submachine gun builds for Al Mazrah, this one doesn’t stray too far off the beaten track. We know what parts go well with submachine guns in Warzone 2, and the same rules apply to the MX9. Below you can find all the necessary attachments to download.
- Receiver: MX9
- Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
- Ammunition: 9 mm auxiliary armor-piercing projectile
- Shop: 32 rounds
Topping the list are barrel-based attachments, including the Bruen S901 16.5″ barrel and the XTEN RR-40 muzzle . They are chosen for the bullet speed, range and recoil control they provide. If you don’t have an XTEN RR-40, you can find other similar mufflers. They just need to have an extended damage range.
Our only mobile fixture in this build is the Bruen Q900 Grip for the rear slot. We equip it with ADS and sprint speed to fire, but it can be customized even more. When setting up, it’s up to you to decide if you want extra stability or maximum ADS.
In order to complete the MX9 load in Warzone 2, we need the right ammo. Ammo 9mm Sub AP and 32 Round Mags are integral and ammo must be configured. For ammo tuning, the only good option is to maximize bullet speed and range, otherwise optics should be used.
