Raised in Los Angeles, Luce Cannon faced considerable challenges early in life, including the loss of his father at a young age, leading to his upbringing by his mother. His path to becoming a music producer was fraught with obstacles, including surviving a shooting and spending two years in prison for undisclosed reasons.

During his time in prison, Cannon discovered his passion for music, realizing it was his true calling, as noted by Top Notch Promo.

After his release, he made a deal with Warner Brothers, which ended prematurely as he opted for an independent route. At just 17, he began collaborating with Nipsey Hussle, whom he considered a brother.

In a May 2023 interview with HyperBeast, Cannon reflected on his musical journey and his relationship with Hussle, stating that they “grew together”and collaborated closely on their music:

“We grew up together, so he was always big bro to me. When it came down to producing and writing and stuff like that, I was always there with him from the beginning to the end,”Cannon shared.

In 2022, while discussing his collaborative track Ball Out with Drakeo the Ruler, Cannon told HyperBeast that after Hussle’s and Drakeo’s tragic deaths, he took a brief hiatus from music. He also conveyed that he and Drakeo had created substantial music together, with Ball Out being their last collaboration.

Cannon has worked alongside numerous big names in the music industry, including Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Nas, and 50 Cent. He is currently planning to release his upcoming album and autobiography titled The Gun or the Pen, with the release date yet to be announced, according to Top Notch Promo.

On September 25, 2024, VelJohnson stated to TMZ that he was shocked and disappointed by the accusations, which he categorically dismissed as fabrications.

The allegations emerged after Cannon appeared on Drinx With Jinx, asserting that VelJohnson had a personal relationship with Diddy amid discussions of “freak off”parties, igniting considerable speculation.

“When Diddy [expletive] Carl Winslow, we was at the party. So, I hear a [expletive] just wearing out some sh*t. I’m like, ‘Who’s wearing this b*tch out?’ [expletive], I kicked in the door. Boom! Kick in the door, [expletive], I seen Carl Winslow put his head up,”Cannon claimed.

In response, Reginald VelJohnson expressed his frustration, noting that he does not know Cannon but wishes him well. He advised Cannon to pursue more productive endeavors instead of spreading unfounded rumors:

“That’s all bullsh*t. I don’t know that man. I wish him well, though. Get a life,”VelJohnson asserted.

Currently, Reginald VelJohnson is participating in season 33 of the celebrity dance competition Dancing With the Stars. As of now, Cannon has not responded to VelJohnson’s denial of the allegations.

Following Diddy’s arrest, videos from the alleged “freak off”parties surfaced, revealing various celebrities and s*x workers engaged in intimate activities, according to The Tab.
