Lucas Coly’s Girlfriend Amber H Claims Rapper Accidentally Shot Himself During Phone Call

On October 3, 2024, the talent manager of the late rapper Lucas Coly shared on Instagram that the popular artist had tragically taken his own life. In a now-deleted Facebook post, the manager also requested prayers for Coly’s girlfriend, Amber H.

On October 5, a grieving Amber opened up on Instagram Live about her boyfriend’s devastating death. During the live stream, she stated,

“I did everything I could to keep him here and I promise but at some point when a person is now letting you know they’ll take the both of you, baby you gotta believe him.”

She went on to say,

“When I was on the phone and I heard it, I screamed, I said, no, no, no, he did it, he did it. I said, Mom, Mom, call 911.”

This Instagram video surfaced following the rapper’s untimely demise. The Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed to The U.S. Sun on October 4 that Coly’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted.

Tributes Paid to Lucas Coly by His Manager

Amber H, Lucas Coly’s girlfriend, expressed on Instagram Live that the rapper shot himself while they were on a call on October 2, the same day Lucas’s body was found at his residence in Las Vegas.

In an emotional Instagram post on October 3, Coly’s manager announced his passing. He had initially shared a heartfelt picture along with a message mourning the rapper’s sudden death. According to The U.S. Sun, the message read,

“Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there..”

However, this message was later deleted, and a heart emoji was posted in its place. The manager, whose identity remains undisclosed, expressed his gratitude for the time spent working with Lucas and shared on Threads that he felt a significant void in his heart.

He continued,

“Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There’s a hole in my heart right now Lucas. We used to speak on our struggles all the time but smile for the fans. So many people hurt us again and again but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now. I’d be a hypocrite if I told you not to, and I go and do the same.”

According to an article by The NY Post on October 3, this announcement followed Coly’s last Instagram Story, where he posted an orange emoji over a black screen with the words “I love y’all,”prompting concerns from fans about his state of mind.

The Clark County Office of the Coroner and Medical Examiner reported that Lucas Coly fatally shot himself in the head just one day before the manager’s announcement concerning his death.

Amber H’s Expression of Grief and Sadness Over Lucas Coly

Lucas Coly’s tragic passing left many heartbroken, including his girlfriend Amber. That Thursday evening, she shared a video showcasing flowers she received, accompanied by the song “Dancing in the Sky,”which expresses the feeling of missing someone who has passed away.

She later posted another video of flowers on her Instagram Story featuring a song by Coly. In her third post, Amber shared an image of a phone along with a note directed at her followers, which said,

“This made me feel a lot better! Amen. Y’all don’t know the half! !!!!!!!!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE! !!!! Let him rest.”

As reported by Hollywood Life, Lucas Coly and Amber H initially connected through social media in 2015, with Amber being the first to reach out. Lucas complimented Amber in his reply. Their relationship progressed when he traveled to Los Angeles to meet her, leading to the establishment of their YouTube channel, “Lucas and Amber,”in 2018. Amber frequently visited Los Angeles to see Lucas, and together they continued to create content for their channel, including relationship-focused Q&A sessions.

As of now, Lucas Coly’s family has not publicly commented on the tragic event.
