Love Island USA: Ariana Madix set to host new season

Love Island USA, the American version of the popular British reality series, has been broadcasting for a total of five years. The show was initially presented by Arielle Vandenberg for three seasons, and later by Sarah Hyland, known for her role in Modern Family, for the remaining two seasons.

As season 6 is scheduled to be released in 2024, there will be a new host for the show as the actress has officially announced her departure. Following this confirmation, it has been rumored that Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will be taking over Hyland’s position.

The famous reality star used her personal Instagram account to officially announce her role as host. In a post on the social media platform, she mentioned trading in her “rhinestone buckles”for a bikini and revealed that she will be the host for the next season of the popular reality dating show.

Ariana Madix Takes Over as Host of Love Island USA

In 2023, Love Island USA’s fifth season concluded and marked the conclusion of Sarah Hyland’s time as host on the show. After taking over for Arielle Vandenberg in season 4, the Modern Family actress had hosted for two seasons. Although she had only hosted for a short period, she made the decision to depart from the show.

Hyland used her social media platform to elaborate on her decision to leave the reality show, mentioning that she had a thrilling new project in the works. She specified that the filming schedules of the two shows would overlap, leading to her resignation as the host of Love Island USA.

The prior host also expressed her excitement for season 6 and her wish for the islanders to find love during their time on the show. As news of her departure spread, speculation arose about who would fill her role. It wasn’t until recently that Ariana Madix, known for her role on Vanderpump Rules, confirmed that she would be stepping in for Sarah Hyland.

Viewers of the Bravo show during season 10 would have known that Ariana is a devoted follower of Love Island USA. During one episode, she and her then-partner, Tom Sandoval, deliberated on ways to enhance their relationship, with Ariana pointing out that they didn’t share similar interests.

“You don’t sit there and watch episodes of Love Island with me.”

During episode 8 of Love Island USA season 5, Madix made a surprise appearance as a guest. Ariana informed the islanders that they would be participating in her beloved Love Island game, “Mr. and Mrs.”She also announced that the victors of the game would receive “a prize that has never been awarded in Love Island history.”
