Love Is Blind’s Brittany Discusses Her Renewed Connection with Leo: “We Talk for Hours”

The highly anticipated seventh season of Netflix’s popular dating series, Love Is Blind, made its debut on October 2, 2024. Among the exciting moments, the engagement of Leo and Brittany in the pods stood out; however, they were not prominently featured in the following episodes. A title card later disclosed that their relationship was not documented after the show, and they have since parted ways.

The reunion episode premiered on October 30, 2024, where the couple reunited on screen. They both clarified their current status, explaining that while they are not romantically involved anymore, Brittany has gained insight into Leo’s genuine feelings for her, leading to a strong friendship between them.

“My friends adore Leo. I do too. What a lot of people might not realize is that we are really good friends now, and we chat for quite a while,”Brittany mentioned.

Brittany Reveals Leo’s Quirks That Weren’t Her Favorite in the Reunion

When hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey further inquired about the reasons behind their breakup, Brittany recounted that after the producers decided to eliminate them from the show, they took their own separate trip together. She noted that traveling can either strengthen a bond or lead to its downfall, as it uncovers deeper aspects of individuals. Brittany discovered that some of Leo’s habits did not align well with her preferences, resulting in their split.

One of the quirks Brittany mentioned was Leo’s frequent tendency to sip from her drinks, which she found a bit irritating.

“Whenever we ordered the same martini, he would always take a sip from mine. I’d tell him, ‘Leo, you have your own,’”Brittany admitted.

Leo responded by mentioning his love for sharing food and beverages with those close to him but acknowledged that this approach might not have been appealing to Brittany. Ultimately, both Love Is Blind participants realized that a platonic relationship suited them better.

During the reunion dialogue, Brittany disclosed that she has been enjoying a new relationship in the real world, while Leo continues his search for love. According to Tudum by Netflix, Brittany’s current partner, whom she affectionately calls “Leo 2.0,” has been part of her life for some time.

Brittany expressed that her new boyfriend, a businessman, brings stability to her life, contrasting with her past “wild child” romances. She aspires for enduring love. On the other hand, Leo shared that his experiences from the show significantly altered his view on love. After filming concluded, he relocated to New York, enhanced his Jewish faith, and is eager to meet someone who shares his beliefs.

Furthermore, Leo mentioned that the time spent in the Love Is Blind pods led him to reflect on his ego. He revealed that the breakup unexpectedly humbled him, making him aware of the inflated sense of ego he possessed, which was “shattered”as a result. He also formed a connection with Hannah during the show but noted that he found it impossible to trust her.
