Hannah acknowledged her own harshness in discussing Nick’s height and regretted her choice of words. She believed that if Nick had been more transparent about his feelings, their relationship might have flourished more effectively. The couple struggled with disparate communication styles—Hannah’s straightforwardness clashed with Nick’s tendency to keep his feelings hidden.

She noted, upon their reunion in Mexico, that her disappointment over his height was candidly shared, while Nick insisted it was love at first sight for him. She recounted:

“As soon as I met him, in Mexico, I was like, ‘Look, after the reveal, I was upset. I thought you were taller than me. I didn’t think you’re not attractive, you’re really attractive. But at that moment, I just didn’t feel like that.’ He was like, ‘Really? It was love at first sight for me.’”
