Season 7 of Love Is Blind has made its exciting return to Netflix, debuting the first six episodes on October 2, 2024. Contestants enter the show with the aim of discovering true love among a diverse cast that includes military veterans, scientists, a lawyer, and a journalist. Notably, this season features a unique twist with a pair of siblings participating in the pods for the first time.
As is standard in the show, contestants will be cut off from their phones and social media, maintaining anonymity as they communicate with one another through a wall until an engagement is proposed. Hosted by the real-life couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the synopsis of episode 3 reveals:
“Two singles discover they’re into the same woman, leading one to seek assurance. A smitten couple meets in person as a situationship nears its deadline.”
Recap of Love Is Blind Season 7, Episode 3
Titled “Is It Too Late?”, episode 3 of Love Is Blind resumes the emotional rollercoaster where Taylor expresses her joy after meeting Garrett for the first time. Their connection has deepened over previous episodes, leading to an affectionate proposal from Garrett on one knee, which Taylor joyfully accepts.
Meanwhile, in the men’s lounge of Love Is Blind, Bohdan and Ramses discover they both have feelings for the same woman, which prompts Bohdan to connect with Marissa in the pods. During their conversation, they bond over their military backgrounds and share their past romantic experiences.
Later, Marissa has a conversation with Ramses, during which he addresses the Bohdan situation. Marissa acknowledges her attraction to Bohdan but appreciates Ramses’ emotional openness, especially given her experiences with hypermasculinity in past relationships.
Ramses shares his views on breaking traditional gender roles, expressing that he wouldn’t mind working remotely and staying home with the kids.
In a different pod, Tim and Alex bond over their love for golf, with Tim expressing happiness in their conversations and wondering if they could shift from deeply emotional discussions to lighter ones.
“A big question mark for me; I was like, ‘Can I have fun with her?’ I feel like it always is so heavy. I don’t know if it can ever be light. I feel like this is the most fun I’ve had with you and I love that,”Tim confessed.
Tyler celebrates his birthday with Ashley A in a poignant moment. Ashley writes him a heartfelt letter expressing her “raw and intense”feelings, leading to an emotional exchange where both shed tears. Tyler surprises Ashley by proposing, stating that meeting her has been “the happiest moment”of his life, to which Ashley agrees, and they share vows of love.
In the men’s quarters, Leo finds himself torn between Brittany and Hannah, discussing his confusion with David, who reveals that Hannah had previously disconnected from him upon learning he was shorter than her.
While Leo confesses his feelings to Brittany, Hannah opens up about her weight struggles when speaking with both Leo and Nick D. Leo asks for more time, while Nick reassures Hannah that his feelings aren’t based on appearance but on their emotional connection. Prior to their meeting, both Monica and Stephen refer to each other as their spouse in their respective lounges.
In a heartwarming moment, Tyler and Ashley finally meet face to face and exchange rings amidst emotional embraces. Nick and Hannah also reunite, professing their love. However, Brittany expresses dissatisfaction with Leo’s indecisiveness over whom to choose.
