The much-anticipated series “Love is Blind Habibi”debuted on Netflix on October 10, introducing viewers in Arabian countries to a unique dating experiment designed to help singles discover love beyond mere appearances. In total, 20 singles entered the pods, forging deep emotional connections, with several of them exchanging significant tokens of affection. Ultimately, six couples announced their engagements and enjoyed a week-long getaway to strengthen their ties and visualize their futures together.
As the show progressed, some couples developed increasingly deeper bonds, while others encountered significant obstacles. Notably, Ammar and Karma, Mido and Noor, along with Simo and Hajar, decided to go their separate ways.
While Chafic & Daunia and Khatab & Asma proceeded with their wedding plans, they decided to postpone the nuptials, citing a need for more time to grow their relationships. In a heartwarming turn of events, Mohammad and Safa managed to tie the knot, celebrating their love with the warm support of their families.
All six engaged couples who formed bonds outside the pods will make an appearance during the reunion episode, sharing their journeys and revealing how their lives have changed since the filming concluded.
Love is Blind Habibi: Updates on Engaged Couples
Safa and Mohammad (Married)

Among the strongest pairs on “Love is Blind Habibi,”Mohammad and Safa faced a significant hurdle just before their wedding day—Safa’s demanding job, which required her to travel weekly from Dubai to Basra. Mohammad felt disheartened when informed that Safa needed to leave for work the very next day after their wedding. Committed to resolving the situation, they agreed to collaborate on finding a solution.
In a touching move, Mohammad, alongside his father, reached out to Safa’s family to formally propose, culminating in a gorgeous wedding that celebrated their journey on “Love is Blind Habibi.”
Daunia and Chafic (Wedding Called Off)

Despite sharing a genuine bond, Chafic and Daunia often found themselves in conflict during their time on the show. Daunia was particularly attached to her mother, who played a dual role in her life, showcasing both maternal and paternal qualities. Chafic believed this close relationship complicated their romance, leading to friction between the two.
The couple introduced each other to their families and stood by each other on what was supposed to be their wedding day but ultimately acknowledged the need for more time and decided to call off the wedding.
Khatab and Asma (Wedding Called Off)

When Asma and Khatab met face-to-face for the first time, Asma turned down Khatab’s engagement proposal. However, after some reflection, she chose to give their relationship another shot and reconnected with him.
Unfortunately, Asma’s parents disapproved of their union formed on the show, which cast a shadow over her hopes for their attendance at the wedding. When they ultimately chose not to come, Asma made the tough decision to call off the wedding, wishing instead to wait for a moment when she could marry with her parents’ support.
Ammar and Karma (No Longer Together)

Ammar held traditional views that clashed with Karma’s profession as a dancer. The couple attempted to overlook these differences, deciding to get engaged outside the pods. However, the disagreement reemerged, leading to tension in their relationship.
Ultimately, Karma opted to focus on her dancing career and the freedom that came with it. With mutual respect, they parted ways, shaking hands as they embraced their separate futures.
Nor and Mido (No Longer Together)

Mido and Noor’s contrasting personalities ultimately led to their split. Mido felt neglected as Noor directed her attention elsewhere, seemingly more interested in Chafic. Frustrated with the situation, Mido left the show without having a conclusive discussion with his fiancée from “Love is Blind.”
Simo and Hajar (No Longer Together)

Likewise, Simo and Hajar called it quits due to their differing personalities. During their first vacation day, Simo engaged in a heated argument with Chafic, who accused him of breaching trust and suggesting he had prior knowledge of Noor.
Feeling unsupported during this conflict, Simo left both the show and Hajar, believing she should have defended him. Hajar, however, felt the dispute was unrelated to her and did not see the point of intervening.
The reunion episode of “Love is Blind Habibi”is slated for release on November 1 on Netflix.
