The seventh episode of Love is Blind Habibi made its debut on Netflix on October 10. This unique dating experiment brings together Arab singles who explore love through emotional connections without ever laying eyes on one another.
After their engagements inside the pods, the couples embarked on a vacation to deepen their understanding of each other. Following this, the participants had the chance to introduce their partners to their friends and family in a bid to solidify their bonds.
Mohammad and Safa obtained the blessing of their families as they exchanged rings in a celebratory ceremony. Meanwhile, Khatab and Asma continued their quest for approval as their wedding date loomed closer. The episode, aptly named Family Matters, features the following synopsis:
“Familiar faces disrupt a night on the town, surprising the couples. Parents play a role in advancing some engagements while sowing doubt in others.”

Continued Family Meetings
In the opening scenes of episode 7, Dounia engages with Chafic’s grandparents to discuss their relationship dynamics. Chafic’s grandparents express their admiration for Dounia and the values she embodies.
Following a group gathering, Chafic’s grandfather took him aside for a personal chat, encouraging him to show Dounia respect in order to earn hers in return. He conveyed:
“Listen carefully, my son. Respecting her will lead to her respecting you. Honor her mother, and she’ll honor yours. It seems she has been raised well. I wish you the best, my child. May this be the beginning of a beautiful life together.”
In another part of the episode, Mohammad had the chance to meet Safa’s family. Upon his arrival, he faced a barrage of inquiries regarding his relationship with Safa, feeling as though he was in a courtroom. When Safa’s mother inquired if he supported her career and busy lifestyle, he responded:
“When I first spoke to Safa about her profession, she shared her passion and hard work on her projects. I wouldn’t dream of hindering her ambitions. The most important thing to me is her happiness.”
Safa’s family was pleased with Mohammad’s thoughtful responses during their discussion. They praised his kindness towards Safa and granted their blessing for the couple’s future together.
Later on, Mohammad returned with his father to formally request Safa’s hand from her brother. Safa’s brother appreciated their respectful cultural approach and consented to support the upcoming union between Safa and Mohammad.
Reunion of Love is Blind Habibi Cast
All three couples gathered for a joint outing, joined by singles Karim, Mido, and Nour from Love is Blind Habibi. The atmosphere shifted when Nour mentioned her “high standards,”which implied a judgment towards Mido.
Karim expressed interest in Safa, but she assured him that she was content with Mohammad and encouraged him to find the right partner. Subsequently, Karim approached Nour privately, revealing his interest and asking her out on a date.
Khatab Faces Challenges with Asma’s Family
Khatab and Asma were seen sharing a workout session, during which Asma shared that she had spoken with her parents. However, they had not yet acknowledged their relationship or the ongoing Love is Blind experiment.
Khatab later confided in his uncle about his journey on the show. When asked about meeting Asma, he explained that her parents preferred to meet him first before she would meet his family. Asma’s residence in Canada posed a challenge for their relationship to develop further.
In another segment, Dounia visited Chafic’s home and was surprised by the untidy state of his living space. When they discussed wedding arrangements, their differing preferences led to a disagreement. With just six days until the wedding, the couple took time to address their misunderstandings.
Unfortunately, Chafic was unsettled by Dounia’s desire to involve her mother in every decision. Their conversation concluded with an emotional Dounia, expressing how important her mother was to her.
