The much-anticipated show, Love is Blind Habibi, released all its episodes on October 10, 2024. In the fourth installment titled ‘Catching Up with Cupid,’ a major conflict unfolded between two of the participants, Simo and Chafic, during a getaway for the couples.

The heated argument stemmed from Chafic’s prior relationship with another contestant, Nour, and Simo’s choice to disclose personal information regarding this to Chafic’s fiancée, Dounia. As a result, tensions flared, culminating in a series of verbal exchanges that turned hostile between the two men.

Chafic’s Revelation and Simo’s Role in Love is Blind Habibi

In the fourth episode of Love is Blind Habibi, Chafic opened up to Simo about recognizing Nour from their past interactions on Instagram.

During their chat by the beach, Chafic recounted how Nour had once complimented his Arabic, dubbing it “cute,” which left him feeling uneasy, especially with Dounia present.

“Dounia was right beside me, and I thought, ‘God help me,’ my heart was racing,” Chafic explained to Simo.

Simo, sensing potential issues if Dounia overheard, inquired, “Did Dounia hear that?” to which Chafic expressed uncertainty. Simo responded:

“If Dounia did hear, that would be problematic.”

As the episode progressed, Simo directly addressed Dounia, hinting that some contestants may have had prior connections before entering Love is Blind Habibi. This comment prompted Dounia to confront Chafic, ultimately igniting the conflict between the two men.

The Showdown Between Simo and Chafic

The friction between Chafic and Simo escalated further when Dounia informed Chafic of Simo’s earlier comments. Feeling betrayed by his friend, Chafic confronted Simo in front of other cast members, questioning why he had shared private matters with his fiancée.

The altercation escalated, leading to a barrage of insults with the atmosphere thickening towards a potential physical confrontation. Simo defended his stance, claiming:
