“Lord Jamar Discusses Jay-Z’s Potential Downfall Following Diddy, Highlights His Early Relationship with Young Beyonce”

On October 4, American rapper and DJ Lord Jamar appeared on The Art of Dialogue podcast, where he discussed why Jay-Z might be the next name in the spotlight following Diddy’s recent controversies. During the interview, the host posed the question:

“50 going at Diddy hard, man. But how you feel about the people that are saying Jay-Z is next?”

Jamar responded:

“You know, I will say that Jay-Z, if he was doing ill like that, he was more quiet about it. You know what I mean? But then, if we be real with ourselves, it was kinda abnormal when he got with Beyonce. She was pretty young when he got with her.”

In his comments, Jamar referred to Jay-Z’s longstanding friendship with Diddy, which has gained attention due to ongoing legal proceedings against Combs. Jay-Z’s relationship with Diddy has been well documented over the years.

Moreover, Jamar suggested that Jay-Z started dating Beyoncé when she was just 18 and he was 30. According to Elle, their paths first crossed in 2001, and they began their romantic relationship in November of that year when Beyoncé was still a member of Destiny’s Child.

Lord Jamar Discusses Jay-Z’s Relationships and Diddy

In his interview, Lord Jamar shared insights on Jay-Z and Diddy’s friendship, along with Jay-Z’s relationship with Beyoncé. He remarked:

“I feel like your girl Jaguar Wright might have been one of the first to really put his name out there. I don’t know enough.”

He went on to elaborate:

“I’m not going to lie. When certain people get to a certain level of fame, I don’t know why, but you start to hear little sh*t about certain people sometimes… If you really think about most of your top celebrities, Black celebrities, rappers… I feel like I’ve heard a rumor damn near about all of them…. Have I heard a little sh*t about Jay-Z? Yup.”

Jamar further discussed the nature of their friendship, implying that even if Jay-Z was involved in any dubious activities, he managed to keep them discreet. He also pointed out that it was “kind of abnormal”for Jay-Z to start dating Beyoncé at such a young age, noting that Foxy Brown was only 16 when she began dating Jay-Z, who was 25 at the time.

Jamar’s comments came after an October 3 interview with Jaguar Wright on Piers Morgan’s show, where she accused both “Diddy and Jay-Z of being monsters,”describing them as “victim-making machines.”

Both interviews emerged in the wake of Diddy’s recent arrest. The rapper was taken into custody on September 16 following a raid on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March 2024. An incident report released post-arrest detailed numerous items found in his Miami home.

The report listed items including weapons, ammunition, drugs, and several bottles of baby oil and lubricant, allegedly connected to violent sex parties dubbed “Freak Offs.”

Furthermore, the document revealed that Combs had been orchestrating, overseeing, and often documenting these gatherings through hidden cameras, purportedly using the recordings to blackmail victims. Allegations state that violence and intimidation were employed to ensure attendance, leveraging his influence over the participants.

The report indicated a “persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals”managed by Combs, spanning over a decade.

Currently, neither Jay-Z nor Diddy has publicly commented on the unfolding incident.
