Steps to Unlock “Comic Relief”:

Achieve level 6 friendship with Kuromi and finish the “Deep Diving”story quest to obtain the Snorkel crafting plans. Ingredients required include 2x Ingot, 10x Rubber, and 2x Spark.
Gather five slices of stamina apples to create a Stamina Apple at any crafting table. Speak to Chococat to access the crafting plans, and it is advisable to have two Stamina Apples at your disposal before beginning the quest.

Once equipped with the Snorkel and ample Stamina, plunge into Rainbow Reef via the northern path near Chococat’s tent. There, you’ll encounter the Comedy Club alongside a fast-travel mailbox. Engage in conversation with Hangyodon to initiate the quest.

Find the three components of the Mermaid outfit. By tracking the “Comic Relief”quest progress, the quest guide will assist you in locating the Mermaid Tiara, Armor, and Tail.
Return the items to Hangyodon, then rendezvous with Chococat at the Mermaidifier located beyond the Resort Gate (use your map for directions).
Seek out the three blue Power Crystals within Rainbow Reef. If you mark the quest, the crystal locations will be highlighted on your map.

Blue Power Crystal #1

The first Power Crystal, easily accessible, is located under the gem-laden waters of Gemstone Mountain. Refer to your map to locate the southern shore dock of the mountain. Equip your sensor, swim southwest of the dock, and you will find the Power Crystal resting on pink sea sponges below.

Blue Power Crystal #2

The second Power Crystal can be found in the Kelp Maze. While there’s a fast-travel mailbox in the maze’s northern section, players should venture to the maze’s southern half if they are solely after the crystal. Dive deep enough to come across statues that reveal the way, leading you directly to the Power Crystal, which sits in a corner of the L-shaped wall on your map.

Blue Power Crystal #3 (Sunken Solutions)

The final Power Crystal requires extra Stamina. You’ll likely have seen the Sunken Ship while gathering crafting plans for Aquatic Material. To retrieve the crystal, swim down to the ship’s bottom where a puzzle room awaits.

How to Solve Sunken Solutions

To navigate the Sunken Solutions, the Power Crystal sits atop the mast, only reachable via the red blocks.

Ascend the stairs and activate the red block to harness the air current that lifts you upward.
You can glide directly towards the mast holding the crystal or redirect towards the rock featuring the second red block.
If you opt for the rock, activate the block to create another air current leading you to the mast and the Power Crystal.
