In their quest to track down the enigmatic Shinbakufu figure known as the Mourner and the Wheel, Naoe and Yasuke reconnect with an old comrade from Yasuke’s samurai training days: Lady Oichi. She is the sister of the fallen Lord Nobunaga and is currently facing numerous threats due to her precarious situation.
Seeking refuge from her many adversaries, Lady Oichi has taken shelter in the remnants of her former residence located in Odani, a place that you may not have previously explored. This area also serves as a setting for one of the Godai Shinobi.
Locating Lady Oichi
To assist in your hunt for Lady Oichi, you must be aware of these three vital clues:
- Her location lies within Omi.
- She can be found in the southeastern section of the Goshiki Outlands.
- Her exact position is in the ruins of Odani.
The Goshiki Outlands can be identified in the northeastern corner of the map, situated in the province of Omi. Odani, further northeast, serves as the designated viewpoint of the area.

The most efficient route to Odani is by fast traveling to Nagahama Kakurega and then heading northeast from that point.
Embark on the main road northeast, pass through the battlefield at Odani, and make your way to the estate’s ruins. Before you reach the viewpoint at the remnants of the Tenshu, you will likely spot Oichi’s bodyguard, Kuma.

Upon arrival, engage in conversation with Kuma and agree to meet Oichi. In the remnants of her once-beautiful garden, she inquires about your involvement with the League and the ongoing struggle against the Shinbakufu. As an ominous soundtrack builds, you’re faced with the choice of being forthright or elusive regarding your intentions—either way, Oichi discloses her efforts to combat the enemy and shares crucial intelligence she has gathered about them thus far.
This pivotal meeting sets you on the path to uncovering the identity of the Shinbakufu agent in Omi, known as the Mourner, and leads you to your initial quest in Nagahama, where you’ll gather clues about their whereabouts from the local Teppo factory.
