Upon entering the Interchange in Atomfall, players often encounter a locked Site Office, leaving them searching for the elusive Site Office Key. While the key may seem hidden, a note titled ‘Strange Noises From Below’ discovered nearby reveals that it has been taken to the construction site via the Robotics lab.
Essential Steps to Find the Site Office Key in Atomfall
To locate the Site Office Key, players must first gain access to the Robotics wing of the Interchange. This requires completing a few preliminary tasks, one of which is restoring power to both the Central Processor and Data Store Delta using an Atomic Battery.
Luckily, the Atomic Battery is conveniently found next to a corpse in the same vicinity where the Central Processor is located. Once you retrieve and install the battery, you will be able to power Data Store Delta, which unlocks access to the Robotics area.
After energizing Data Store Delta, head upstairs from where you placed the Atomic Battery. Upon exiting to the middle of the Interchange, look to your right for a door labeled ‘ROBOTICS.’ Entering this space is essential as it leads to the next steps.
Inside Robotics, your goal is to access the Lower Level, which requires opening a large grey door. To accomplish this, you’ll need to use the Signal Redirector to reroute power through junctions found in both the Power Control Beta and Robot Assembly rooms.
Upon reaching the Lower Level, there will be three consoles with buttons that can be pressed to access the Weapons Testing Area. While engaging with these consoles isn’t mandatory, doing so can be beneficial if you’re pursuing Dr. Garrow’s quest, as it also eases navigation through some quarantine seals in the area.
To obtain the Site Office Key, locate the tunnel on the lower level that is marked with ‘EXIT.’ This tunnel will lead back to the Interchange, ensuring that players can find their way without much hassle.
Once you’ve emerged from the tunnel, you’ll find yourself in a dilapidated underground area directly beneath the Site Office. Ascend the stairs or ladder to reach the office location. Beware of Feral enemies that may pose a threat as you approach the corpse containing the Site Office Key.
With the Site Office Key securely in your inventory, make your way back to the site office, reachable via a nearby ladder located just past the Slatten Dale Interchange entrance. Unlocking the office will reward you with an Explosive Lure Recipe, Training Stimulants, crafting materials, and both shotgun and SMG ammunition.
