Exploring Lil Yachty’s Other Controversies

The recent release of “We Ball Forever”has landed Lil Yachty in a tumultuous situation, but this isn’t the first time he’s found himself under scrutiny for alleged creative theft.

Earlier this year, in March, streamer Kai Cenat showcased an unreleased track from Yachty during a live stream, which then led to accusations regarding uncredited influences from various artists. Speculation arose suggesting that Yachty had incorporated Playboi Carti’s rhyme schemes. However, Yachty quickly took to X to address these concerns, stating:

“Biting him? How did I bite him? If that’s the case, I’ve been working with Cardo since 2019-2020 on record. Y’all fans be smoking the strongest d**k.”

In August, another controversy surrounded Yachty when artist Karrahbooo claimed he had bullied her and dismissed her from a group. Addressing these allegations in an Instagram live session, he remarked:

“You don’t even do anything! I wrote every f*cking verse you’ve done. I dressed you. I gave you that chrome Rolex. You were waiting tables! I changed your motherf*cking life! And you on here lying talking about ‘we bully you’? That sh*t got me f*cked up, bruh. I wrote that f*cking verse when we went on On the Radar.”

He elaborated:

“I put you last on purpose so everyone would say, ‘Who the f*ck is that girl?’ … I got the f*cking reference.”

Lil Yachty, whose birth name is Miles Parks McCollum, embarked on his musical career in 2015, gaining fame with his hit “One Night.”He released his debut studio album, “Teenage Emotions,”in 2017, followed by several successful albums such as “Lil Boat 2,””Nuthin’ 2 Prove,””Lil Boat 3,”and “Let’s Start Here.”

Throughout his career, he has received numerous award nominations, including accolades from the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and iHeartRadio Music Awards. Notably, he has garnered two Grammy nominations for his songs “Broccoli” and “Donda.”
