For gamers who take pride in being completionists, Little Nightmares 3 offers a treasure trove of collectibles that significantly extend the gaming experience. Depending on your exploration skills, hunting down these items can add several hours to your playthrough.
Among these collectibles are ghosts, which are cleverly concealed throughout the final chapter of the game. In total, players will discover six elusive ghosts scattered across the level. Given their spectral nature, spotting these ghosts can be quite challenging. This guide will provide you with detailed locations to ensure you don’t miss any.
To properly capture a ghost, simply approach it and wait for it to vanish, which confirms its collection.
Ghost #1

The first ghost awaits at the very beginning of Chapter 4. As you approach the large gap in the building, take a right turn and move south, bypassing the grand staircase. Here, you’ll find the ghost happily playing in the grass. Be sure to get close enough for it to register as collected.
Ghost #2

Your next encounter with a ghost occurs after navigating a platforming section that requires climbing over a large gap using a pipe. Look out for a monstrous plant that tries to knock you down; it signals you’re close to your destination. Once you successfully traverse to the other side, walk down the hallway until you find the second ghost drawing on the wall, positioned between a garbage can and a dumpster. Make sure to approach it closely for your collection to count.
Ghost #3

The third ghost is located right after you strike the first gong, which causes a massive leg to retreat into the wall. This occurs midway through the Institute’s main path. After ringing the gong and moving the obstructive leg, head into the rear left corner of the now-accessible room to find the ghost. Given its transparency, it may be easier to spot with your flashlight turned on.
Ghost #4

To discover the fourth ghost, you first need to drop from a higher level into a mushroom-filled pit. After navigating out of the pit, head westward until you come across a climbable drawer and a window. Once you exit through that window, you’ll find a staircase ahead. Instead of climbing the stairs, check the back left corner of the room where the ghost is lurking by the cabinets and a coat rack.
Ghost #5

At a certain point, you’ll encounter a lever that opens a sliding door; however, only the character Alone can enter due to the door’s rapid closing mechanism. After pulling the lever, head south, and you’ll discover a cracked wall. Alone will break through it from the other side, granting you access to a sparsely furnished room with several benches. The fifth ghost resides in the back right corner sitting on one of these benches.
Ghost #6

Lastly, the sixth ghost is found in a locked room positioned just before the dual-world puzzle on the upper floors, which you can access via an elevator. Upon exiting the elevator, traverse a lengthy hallway where a hole in the wall appears on your right. Proceed through the hole to discover a key located on one of the boxes. You’ll need this key shortly.

Retrace your steps to exit this room, continue south to locate a locked door on your left, and use the key to enter. You’ll find the final ghost hiding in the corner of this new space.
