Zonnique ‘Star’ Pullins, the stepdaughter of rapper T.I. (Clifford Joseph Harris), was recently seen purchasing a brand new car, shortly after the Harris family celebrated a significant legal victory in the OMG Girlz lawsuit amounting to $71 million. In September 2024, T.I. and his wife, Tameka Harris, prevailed in their lawsuit against toy manufacturer MGA. The couple had accused MGA of appropriating the design of their O.M.G dolls, inspired by the teen ensemble, OMG Girlz, which features Harris’ daughter, Zonnique.

According to Law 360, the jury granted T.I. and Tameka $17.9 million in actual damages and an additional $53.6 million in punitive damages. Evidence presented during the three-week trial confirmed that MGA’s OMG dolls infringed upon the trade dress and likeness rights of the OMG Girlz.

T.I. Announces Retirement After $71 Million Lawsuit Win Against MGA

In an interview aired on October 10 with 96.1 radio, T.I. revealed that he intends to hold his final performance on December 19 at the 96.1 The Beat’s Jingle Ball concert in Atlanta. After this event, he plans to retire from live performances.

“I want to express my gratitude for this last opportunity because I no longer need the money; I won’t be performing anymore,”the rapper stated.

He added:

“I no longer wish to earn by entertaining others through performing.”

When host Ferrari Simmons inquired about possible future endeavors with Pimp Squad Click, the 2001 rap collective that T.I. co-founded, he seemed uninterested, responding:

“Absolutely. I’ll let them know I won’t be taking the stage.”

Longtime collaborator Young Dro joined T.I. during the interview, humorously adding:

“I will be taking over all of Tip’s performances now.”

MGA Entertainment is still able to contest the verdict and the awarded damages by petitioning the judge for further action and possibly moving the case to a federal appellate court.
