DLCs (Downloadable Content) consistently enhance gaming experiences, particularly through the introduction of new weapons. While players may have enjoyed a variety of melee options in the base game, fresh armaments often come with unique and intriguing abilities that elevate gameplay. Such is the case with the new weaponry unveiled in the Lies of P: Overture DLC, which promises hours of new, engaging combat opportunities.
The Overture expansion introduces a total of six customizable weapons that players can disassemble and combine not only among themselves but also with weapons from the base game. Alongside these, four unique weapons are available that cannot be altered, as well as two new Legion Arms. Players can discover most of these formidable tools by exploring chests hidden throughout the DLC’s environments, while others can be earned by defeating significant bosses. Now, let’s dive into locating these fantastic new weapons!
Warning: Major spoilers for Lies of P: Overture follow!
Royal Horn Bow Location

The Royal Horn Bow is one of the first new and particularly unique weapons players can find early in the Overture DLC. This long-range weapon can be discovered in the Hall of Adventure located within Kratt Zoo. After activating the Hall of Adventure Stargazer, head up the stairs on your right, meandering around the corner and through the fossil exhibit.
Continue through the hallway, dropping down into the room featuring a zebra exhibit. Ascend the stairs to the right, traverse another exhibit hallway, and you will reach a secluded balcony where a chest containing the Royal Horn Bow awaits. Although classified as a dagger, it serves as the game’s sole dedicated ranged weapon, providing a uniquely entertaining way to engage enemies.
Lorenzini Bolt Location

Next, players can find the disassemblable weapon, the Lorenzini Bolt, again within the Kratt Zoo, specifically in the Jungle Zone. From the Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer, proceed along the main path until you spot a tree adorned with birdhouses to your left. Below that tree, drop down onto the frozen river beneath the damaged bridge.
Be cautious of an incoming snowball rolling down to displace enemies and shatter the ice wall at the river’s far side. Behind this rubble lies a chest containing the Lorenzini Bolt, which can unleash brief explosive blasts during combat.
Maniac’s Pinwheel Location

If you’re after an unpredictably enjoyable experience, check out the Maniac’s Pinwheel located in the Carnival Garden. From the main Stargazer in this area, cross the bridge to the attraction marked “Clown Circus.” To enter, you’ll need to pay the Puppet at the table a Carnival Coin, which can either be found near a small clock tower close to the entrance or dropped by defeating the Parade Master.
Inside the attraction, you’ll be tasked with completing a simple mini-game: smack a designated number of dolls popping up from the floor before the timer runs out. Successful completion awards you the Maniac’s Pinwheel, a quirky weapon that revs up automatically when swung or dashed, increasing damage potential based on its spinning speed.
Puppet Of The Future’s Welder Location

The retro-futuristic Puppet of the Future’s Welder can be located within the depths of the Zelator Underground Facility. From the first Stargazer in this area, start by heading right into the corridor. Follow the path down ramps, take the first door on your right, and move past its entrance into another hallway below.
Follow the corridor until you come to a small room with a ladder leading down on your right side. Descend the ladder and navigate through the pipe to a large sewer room. Cross to the other side, leading into a low-ceiling passage. Continue along this passage to a ramp leading into a cell block and enter the first accessible cell door on your right. Scale the ladder inside leading up to the cell block’s upper level.
This involves crossing several bridges until reaching the last cell at the end of the line. Drop into the hole found on the floor and exit the cell through the door ahead, climbing the nearest ladder. Enter the neighboring cell on your left and drop into another hole, where you will encounter an upcoming enemy breaking through the wall. Pass through this breaching wall to discover the chest holding the Puppet of the Future’s Welder. What a journey!
The Vengeance Location

While you are in the Zelator Underground Facility, keep an eye peeled for another weapon: La Vendetta. This powerful tool becomes available after vanquishing Veronique in the Coolant Control Room. Once the coolant is disabled, return to the area’s first Stargazer and drop into the large pit previously inaccessible due to the freezing coolant.
Enter the pipe on your right and navigate the path of pipes until you drop into a chamber with a small staircase. Push through to the next room filled with beds and shelves, continuing through down a set of stairs toward another room filled with tanks and a Rolling Carcass. Defeating this enemy will open a door on the opposite side, revealing a chest containing La Vendetta. This weapon may be cumbersome, but its power is incredibly satisfying.
Arche’s Guardian Location

Another standout weapon, the electrified Arche’s Guardian, is located in the Ergo Mining Site. Start from the Stargazer and navigate the expansive cavern with its towering central pillar. Stick to the primary path until you encounter a wooden lift designed to ferry you across a lengthy gap.
After crossing via the lift, take a left up a small ramp. You will notice ledges and a chest situated on some scaffolding below. Break into it to acquire the Arche’s Guardian, which boasts exciting lightning-launching capabilities.
Silent Evangelist’s Mace Location

Finally, players can discover the Silent Evangelist’s Mace, the last standard weapon obtainable in the Overture DLC. This devastating weapon is situated near the Shipwreck Interior Stargazer, amongst the frozen ships. From there, navigate to the flooded passage to your right and follow it until you climb a ramp out of the ship.
Proceed along the icy path until you reach another shipwreck where you can enter from below. Walk up the ramp into this ship, moving through until you reach the ladder at the end that leads you upwards to the deck. Make your way to the bow of the ship where you’ll uncover the chest holding the Silent Evangelist’s Mace, a colossal weapon that exudes acid with each swing.
Genius’s Legion Plugs Locations

The Overture DLC also enriches your arsenal with two new Legion Arms: Cataclysm, a formidable arm-mounted shotgun, and Icarus, which enables the launch of multiple spinning boomerang blades. Unlike the base game arms, crafting these requires special items known as Genius’s Legion Plugs, of which there are two within this DLC.
The first Genius’s Legion Plug awaits near the Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer. Follow the main pathway until you reach a vast area occupied by an Elephant Carcass. Defeating this enemy will reward you with the first Plug.

For the second Genius’s Legion Plug, return to the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer. Drop down from the ledge and proceed along the right ramp. Navigate around the curve of the large area until you spot a small spot with a waterfall, where an enemy will jump out. Open the safe revealed by defeating this enemy, and you’ll uncover your second Plug.
Overture Boss Weapons

Similar to the main game, the major bosses in Lies of P: Overture drop special Ergo, which can be exchanged with specific NPCs, like Klaus, for unique weapons and accessories. If you prioritize weapons, here’s a look at the rewards you can obtain:
After defeating Markiona, the Puppeteer of Death, you will acquire the Macabre Puppeteer’s Ergo, which can be traded for the Death Talons. This pair of claws enables users to execute rapid slashing combos.
Defeating the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins earns you the Tortured Guardian’s Ergo, which can be exchanged for the Pale Knight. This weapon resembles a gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII and can fire short-range blasts.
Lastly, defeating the ultimate boss in the DLC, Arlecchino the Blood Artist, awards you Monad’s Rose Sword directly, skipping the Ergo step. This impressive blade, originally wielded by Lea, lets you perform her remarkable area-slashing attack.
