
Lenovo has officially launched its highly anticipated Legion Pro 7 16-inch laptop, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 9000HX processors, alongside the LOQ Tower Desktop PC featuring Ryzen 8000HX CPUs. Both products are equipped with the new RTX 50 GPUs, enhancing their gaming performance significantly.

The recent offerings from Lenovo include notable upgrades to its gaming desktop segment and a refresh of the Legion Pro 7 laptop, marking a leap in mobile gaming technology with AMD’s advanced Ryzen chips.
Legion Pro 7: A Powerhouse for Gamers
Lenovo’s Legion Pro 7 laptop is designed to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience, featuring AMD’s high-performance Ryzen 9000HX “Fire Range”CPUs along with NVIDIA’s RTX 50 GPUs. The system can be equipped with up to the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, recognized as AMD’s fastest mobile chip with a 3D V-Cache boost. This formidable CPU works in tandem with the NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU, ensuring graphics-intensive tasks are handled with ease.

The Legion Pro 7 has undergone a significant overhaul in terms of cooling technology, employing the advanced Legion Coldfront system. This vapor chamber design, complete with dual fans, can support a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 275W. It also offers up to 2TB of Gen5 storage and features a stunning 16-inch 4K PureSight WQXGA OLED display with an impressive 0.08ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, resulting in crisp visuals and smooth gameplay.
Additional specifications include 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, an RGB-backlit keyboard, a robust 400W power adapter, and a 99.9Wh battery capable of Super Rapid Charge support. The laptop is set to be available for a starting price of €2899 starting next month.
Introducing the LOQ Tower Desktop with Ryzen 8000HX Processors
Shifting focus to the LOQ Tower 26ADR10 Desktop PC, Lenovo has opted for AMD’s Ryzen 8000HX “Dragon Range Refresh”CPUs. These mobile processors are paired with powerful desktop-grade GPUs, offering configurations up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The standout processor in this lineup is the Ryzen 7 8745HX, featuring 8 cores based on Zen 4 architecture and clock speeds reaching up to 5.1 GHz.

The LOQ Tower supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM, includes 4 TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, and provides two HDD expansion slots for added flexibility. The enhanced cooling design incorporates additional vents located at the front and top of the chassis, featuring at least seven RGB-lit fans to ensure optimal thermal management.

The LOQ PC will be powered by a robust 850W power supply, starting at an accessible price of €999, with availability expected next month. These new products highlight Lenovo’s commitment to cutting-edge gaming hardware and innovation.
