The BTOB member and musical actor took the opportunity to clarify the nature of their relationship, emphasizing their friendship.

Lee Changsub shared that he first contacted Solar, whose real name is Kim Yongsun, while waiting backstage at a music event. Given that they are peers of the same age, he thought it would be nice to share a meal outside of their professional obligations. This led the show’s panel to question whether his actions hinted at flirtation. Notable remarks came from Choi Daniel, who suggested that asking for her number could imply romantic interest, while Lee Sang-min highlighted the common inference of such gestures in the entertainment industry.

In a clip, Solar can be seen patting Lee Changsub on the shoulder, prompting him to return the gesture. The cast interpreted this physical interaction as indicative of a deeper bond, with KCM asserting that it suggested Lee Changsub may have feelings for Solar. Choi Daniel further mused that such displays of affection are typically reserved for those in romantic relationships.

In response to these speculations, Lee Changsub elaborated on the context of their camaraderie. He noted that during this time, Solar was preparing for her musical debut in “Mata Hari.” As a fellow artist, he expressed professional empathy rather than any romantic intent, citing the nerves associated with significant career milestones.

When pressed about whether he had any romantic feelings for Solar, Lee Changsub thoroughly dismissed the notion. He referenced a previous appearance on “Amazing Saturday, ” where Solar humorously referred to the idea of kissing him as “gross.”He further described their stage kiss from ‘Mata Hari’ as “two chunks of meat bumping into each other, ” which elicited laughter from the audience and reinforced his stance on the platonic nature of their relationship.
