“I had to mature quickly. Loving someone who is unpredictable makes it hard to trust; I often questioned myself,”she reflected.

At the age of 13, Lauren-Michael’s mother lost custody of her children, leading her to live with her father, with whom she lacked a strong bond. To cope with feelings of isolation, she found solace in singing and songwriting.

Lamenting that she never expected to reach this stage, Lauren-Michael said it felt “incredible”to pursue her dreams at “even 35.”

As her performance began, Gwen Stefani was the first to press her buzzer, expressing her admiration for “Oceans.”Shortly after, Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire joined in, with Snoop Dogg buzzing in just before the song concluded.

Bublé showered Lauren with praise, referring to her as a “beautiful breath of fresh air,”commending her vocal prowess and delivery. He remarked that Lauren brought a “lovely energy”to the performance, causing the audience to erupt in excitement.

Reflecting on her song, Gwen Stefani mentioned a spiritual experience she had listening to “Oceans”recently, calling Lauren’s performance “very genuine and heartfelt.”Both Snoop Dogg and Reba noted how they decided to turn their chairs after witnessing Gwen’s emotional response.

Describing Lauren’s performance, Snoop Dogg remarked on the palpable energy in the room, likening it to a divine presence entering the venue. He emphasized his desire not to miss out on such an experience.

Reba McEntire expressed that witnessing Lauren-Michael Sellers sing was “magical.”She was deeply moved by the emotion conveyed through her voice.

When it came time for Lauren to choose a team, she mentioned that she had recited Reba’s prayer before stepping onto the stage, leading to her decision to join Team Reba. This brought tears to Reba’s eyes, who felt deeply touched by Lauren’s choice.
