Latest Google Pixel 9a Renders Reveal Exciting New Design

Google has recently unveiled the Pixel 9 series, which includes the much-anticipated Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Alongside this, rumors and leaks surrounding the more affordable Pixel 9a smartphone have started circulating online. High-quality renders of the Pixel 9a have emerged, offering a glimpse into its revamped design.

A recent leak showcases the purported Google Pixel 9a from various angles. One of the most significant updates in the renders is the introduction of a flat camera module, confirming prior leaks regarding the camera design of the Pixel 9a.

The Pixel 9a appears to be moving away from Google’s signature rear camera visor design. Instead, it features a camera module that is integrated into the back panel. This new flush camera design is reminiscent of certain older LG models, with the flash positioned to the right. It is expected that the Pixel 9a will come equipped with an ultrawide and a wide-angle camera on the rear.

The renders also emphasize the prominent bezels surrounding the front display.

Furthermore, reports indicate that the Pixel 9a may launch with Android 15, a version not featured in any of the Pixel 9 series devices (VIVO has already begun rolling out Android 15). It’s also anticipated that the Pixel 9a will receive up to seven years of software updates, similar to the Pixel 8a from the previous year.

The specifications of the Pixel 9a are expected to mirror those of the Pixel 8a, including a 6.1-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Powering the device could be the Tensor G4 chip, co-developed by Google and Samsung, with potential enhancements in battery capacity as well.

Regarding the launch timeline, the Pixel 8a debuted in May 2024, and we anticipate the Pixel 9a to be announced around the same period next year.
